After a long summer break, Leicestershire's gritters are back on standby this week to deal with icy roads. Temperatures are set to drop over the next few days, which means the County Council's team of drivers is getting ready for some long nights. BBC Radio Leicester's Julie Mayer has been meeting some of them at the grit barns in Mountsorrel, to find out more about their team of 17 gritters, 80 drivers and network of snow wardens, farmers and 4-by-4 drivers ready to take to the roads.
