Busan International Film Festival 2012 This was the 17th year for the South Korean film festival which came to an end on Saturday night. Jean Noh was there and takes us through the highlights. David Nash at Kew The wood sculptor presents an evolving exhibition in the UK's Royal Botanical gardens and explains the relationship between fire and wood and the conversations he has with his chosen medium. Liao Yiwu Chinese dissident author Liao Yiwu has just won the prestigious German Book Trade Peace Prize, and at the same time attacked the Chinese Nobel Laureate Mo Yan as a ‘state poet’.
