No longer a boom town, Riga saw many of its most glamorous busines ventures go bust. So how are Latvians looking now? Pretty stylish, in fact, says Damien McGuiness - in a budget-cool sort of way. A Tower of Babel (and that was just the canteen) Bush House on the Strand in London, has been the home of the World Service for more than 70 years. But not any longer. Its staff are moving to newer premises elsewhere - but their love for "Bush" is undimmed.
