Jean is the daughter of Sir Stanley Matthews. Here, she talks to her grandson Cameron all about him. Matthews was the first player to win the European Footballer of the Year, and the only to be knighted whilst still playing. The Stoke-on-Trent born 'Wizard of Dribble' is loved by the city, and throughout the country. Cameron was born just a few months before his great-grandfather died, so doesn’t really remember him. Here Jean tells Cameron all about her father on and off the pitch, the disguises he used to wear, and touching memories of him.
