Owen Bennett Jones presents stories from Chris Bockman in France and Bethany Bell in Austria. Visiting Vietnam-sur-Lot France lost its empire some 60 years ago but for some - that era hasn’t gone away. Hundreds of people from Indochina - East Asia - worked for the French colonialists. Some were moved to France and housed in a disused Army camp in the 1950s. And even today, some are still there. Chris Bockman has been to the small town of Saint Livrade to find out more. Where everybody knows your kaffee In Vienna, coffee houses are so important to the city's life that Unesco has recently added them to its catalogue of the world's cultural heritage. Bethany Bell says the cafes have strict rules - but they are worth obeying.
