Click Special: Steve Jobs

Digital Planet

Available for over a year

“Stay hungry, stay foolish” was a catch phrase of Steve Jobs. He was born in 1955 and died in 2011. From college dropout, to commune, to computer pioneer to visionary, tycoon and now icon, Click marks the death on Wednesday of Apple’s co-founder. This will not be a hagiography, but an opportunity to talk about the man, the vision and the technology – the successes and the failures. Click has also harvested comments from Facebook and Twitter too. As well as looking at the peaks and troughs of the unusual career of Steve Jobs, there will be two special guests in the studio. Gareth Mitchell is joined by David Rowan, editor of Wired magazine and Steve Furber, Professor of Computer Engineering in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester to discuss how Steve Jobs will be remembered
