Digital Planet

Available for over a year

Ten years ago the first technology programme, Go Digital was launched on the BBC World Service. A few years later the world was judged to have gone digital and the programme changed its name to Digital Planet. Earlier this year it underwent another transformation and has emerged as Click. A decade after the first edition Gareth Mitchell and Bill Thompson are joined by guests to celebrate the world of technology and to reflect on the extraordinary and rapid changes to that world ten years on. The panel includes the theramin playing robotocist Sarah Angliss; the science writer, Angela Saini, whose recently published Geek Nation has been critically acclaimed; the musician and broadcaster Tom Robinson; and the computer scientist and pioneer of virtual reality, Jaron Lanier.
