As South Sudan gets ready to celebrate it's creation as an independent nation, we visit one of the few towns in the country that's got a power plant - a key ingredient for economic development. Plus Mike chats to Roger Middleton, a specialist in the region of East Africa, about why it matters that the new country develops into a stable economy as quickly as possible.
