Recent satellite images showed a significant jump in the rate of deforestation compared with the same period last year. Brazil's Environment Minister admitted that he was "alarmed". There is endless tension between those who want to make money out of the great forest, and those who believe it must be preserved at all costs. And Robin Lustig has been meeting two men who live deep in the Amazon jungle. Delhi's birdlife Visitors to the busy Indian city of Delhi would be forgiven for thinking the city may not have much in the way of birdlife. But Anu Anand says there are actually more birds than you might think struggling to cope with Delhi's pollution.
