Bay of Pigs Invasion

Witness History

Available for over a year

In April 1961 Cuban exiles, backed by the US government, tried to overthrow Fidel Castro. Fifty years ago boatloads of counter-revolutionaries stormed the beaches of a bay in Cuba. They soon ran out of ammunition, and without backup their mission failed. We hear from one of those exiles.
