Rajan Datar finds out what listeners outside the UK willl make of this year's British elections on 6 May 2010. He talks to the heads of the BBC's Bengali and Vietnamese sections to see which aspects of British political life are particularly interesting to their listeners. He'll also hear from the editor of Focus on Africa, who's going to be giving an outsider's view of the UK electoral campaign. Elsewhere, Rajan learns about a 3-week journey across India by a team from BBC Hindi. Their mission: to see how the government's ambitious road-building programme of 20 kms of new road per day from June 2010 until 2014 - is going to affect Indians, both positively and negatively.
