The UK has long been keen on attracting overseas students - they are seen as bringing large benefits to the host country - but the system has been widely abused in the past. The UK government believes that its new visa system - introduced only last year - is the answer. The system is designed to select only genuine students - the brightest and the best. But those dealing with the new arrivals on the streets of London, say the reality is very different. Lucy Williamson investigates the crisis building behind the dream of a British education.
