Michael Mann Public Enemies is the new Michael Mann - directed 1930s gangster movie starring Johnny Depp and luminous Marion Cotillard. It's the big release for the July 4th Weekend in the USA. Mark Coles interviews Michael Mann who discusses 1930s America and the turning point it marked in the twentieth century. Guggenheim The Guggenheim Museum in New York is fifty years old. Its curators have decided that the most appropriate way to celebrate is with an exhibition about the man who designed the building, Frank Lloyd Wright - now recognised as the greatest American architect of the 20th century. Our reporter Andrew Purcell took a tour of this iconic spiral structure on Fifth Avenue, in the company of Richard Morgan, Director of the Guggenheim Foundation.' Kenyan Boys Choir As a special treat we have an exclusive performance of the the Kenyan Boys Choir recorded at Bush House especially for The Strand. After performing at Barack Obama's inauguration the choir landed a major record deal and now look set to take their uplifting African music to an international audience.
