Curler Kyle Paradis chats all about the sport that’s been grabbing attention at this year’s Winter Olympics. Kyle who is originally from Canada, now represents Ireland on the international curling stage, with several major championships under his belt. Also in the studio is local singer Emily Woods, who had a whirlwind start to the week after being spotted at a live session on Monday night, she was invited by Imelda May to perform with her in front of hundreds the very next evening. Roisin Beasley, one of the organisers behind a social football festival happening in Belfast this weekend chats about how the ‘Kick 2 Connect’ event is designed to bring women of all backgrounds and abilities together. We hear from an Arranmore Island mother and her two sons who are preparing to row across the Atlantic Ocean in one of the world’s toughest endurance challenges. And we’ll be joined by Terry ‘Turbo’ Burrows, the world’s fastest window cleaner. Paula McIntyre’s in the kitchen, whipping up buttermilk bread rolls loaded with steak, raclette, gherkins and a mustard mayo.
