Oliver Hides takes your calls on maternity services in Wales, phone free spaces in concerts, and trading card collections
The Phone InAvailable for 16 days
Oliver Hides with Thursday's Phone In... A major review of maternity and neonatal services in Wales has found that safety is being compromised by insufficient staffing levels. The review says current staffing isn’t enough to meet the rapid increase in caesarean births and inductions. It also found that there's a need for stronger national co-ordination to help improve vulnerabilities and weaknesses in care. We’d like you to share your experiences of maternity services in Wales, both good and bad. Rumours are circling online that a Harry Styles gig in Manchester will be phone free, which has resulted in an outcry from fans. Although unconfirmed, it’s believed a company called Yondr will be working at the show. Yondr produce secure fabric pouches, which can be used to create phone-free spaces in schools, concert venues, and workplaces. How would you feel about your mobile phone being placed in a lockable bag during a concert? And do you collect trading cards? Last week, we marked Pokémon’s 30th anniversary on the show. It got us thinking about the world of trading cards. YouTuber and pro wrestler Logan Paul recently sold a Pokémon trading card for a record-breaking $16.5m dollars, around £12 million. Let us know about your card collections – past and present. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nations' conversation
