To mark the 400th anniversary of John Dowland's death, Hannah French explores the years the composer spent working in the Danish court of King Christian IV. Despite only spending a short amount of time in Denmark (from 1598 to 1606), while he was there, Dowland published two books of songs and his famous Lachrimae collection. Producer: Ben Collingwood.
