Holby City actor Bob Barrett talks about appearing in a stage production of Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile, which is touring to Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The 145th Open Annual Exhibition of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, or RSW, opened in Edinburgh at the weekend. Established in the 19th century, the society offers a platform for artists to showcase their work in Edinburgh and also promotes the importance of watercolour as a contemporary medium. The show features over 350 paintings, and RSW president Anthea Gage joins Len to tell her more. Frances Crawford’s debut novel started life as a short story written as part of the creative writing course from Glasgow University that she graduated from aged 60. There’s a lot of buzz for A Bad, Bad Place, and the signs were there when ten publishers bid for the book at auction two years ago. Frances joins Len in studio.
