The Phone In

Available for 24 days

Oliver Hides with Friday's Phone In... Yesterday we heard the news that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Today, we’ve seen unmarked police vehicles arriving at Royal Lodge to continue a search at his former home. He's been released under investigation, and the case is now active. In his statement yesterday the King said, "My family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all." Does the Royal Family still serve you? A teacher who thought she was going to die when she was stabbed by a 13-year-old pupil in the schoolyard has said giving staff handheld scanners will not stop violence in schools. Liz Hopkin, who was attacked at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in 2024, has sa8id that teachers "aren't security", and that there was too much emphasis on detection rather than prevention. Would you welcome greater security in our classrooms? This month, two iconic games from our childhoods are celebrating big anniversaries. The Legend of Zelda is turning 40, and Pokémon is turning 30. So, tell me about the games that made your childhood. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nations' conversation
