The Prime Minister has called on Sir Jim Ratcliffe to apologise for saying the UK has been “colonised by immigrants”. Sir Keir Starmer has labelled the comments made by the billionaire Manchester United co-owner as “offensive and wrong”. Sir Jim, founder of one of the world's largest chemical companies, Ineos, told Sky News on Wednesday the UK had been “colonised by immigrants”, and suggested the prime minister was "too nice" to do "difficult things" to stabilise the country's economy. Legislation to allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote in the next general election begins its journey through parliament today. 16 year olds in Wales have had the right to vote in Senedd elections since 2020. Do you agree with lowering the voting age for general elections? And should we eat more offal? Meats such as liver, heart and kidney could make a comeback as a new superfood, according to scientists at Aberystwyth University. Researchers have been working with Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales - to raise awareness of offal’s high nutritional value. Let us know if you eat offal – and share your favourite recipes.
