Travelling Folk Live from Celtic Connections 2026

Travelling Folk

Available for 28 days

Join Anna for a night of great live music from Celtic Connections at BBC Scotland's Pacific Quay in Glasgow. We have a packed line up featuring Glasgow-based Tom Campbell Trio - Tom, along with Callum Convoy and Gillie O'Flaherty, brings a great set of original tunes and compositions to get the programme off to a great start. We then welcome Kris Drever and Michelle Willis onto the stage. Originally from Orkney, Kris has made Glasgow his home, and accompanied by Canadian Michelle on vocals, they give us a couple of exclusives from Kris's upcoming album, Doing This For Love, plus some old favourites. Another duo joins us next, musician and songwriter Gráinne Brady and pianist Michael Biggins with a set of songs and tunes - some from Gráinne's upcoming album, Back and Forth, and all beautifully performed. And taking us out in their own inimitable style is Astro Bloc. The four piece of Eryn Rae, Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, Paul Jennings and Gillie O'Flaherty have had an incredible year since performing their first Celtic Connections show in 2025. They join us on the eve of their album launch with a high-energy set bursting with their own tunes guaranteed to get you up dancing.
