David Keenan recorded live in session. Originally from Dundalk, David Keenan is one of the most authentic and vital cultural voices to emerge on this island in recent years. His fourth album “Modern Mythologies” encapsulates so much of what is essential about David’s art – it is unflinchingly honest, unrelenting in its search for truth and self-acceptance and an unwavering rebellion against despair. On this week’s show, we hear David’s session recorded live at Blackstaff studios in Belfast and a chat with Stephen. There will also be music from David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Nathan Fake, Thumper and Cocteau Twins.
