The White House has told the BBC that US President Donald Trump has been discussing "a range of options" to acquire Greenland, including use of the military. The statement came hours after European leaders issued a joint statement rallying behind Denmark, which has been pushing back against Trump's ambitions for the Arctic island. Trump repeated over the weekend that the US "needed" Greenland for security reasons, prompting Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to warn that any attack by the US would spell the end of Nato. What’s your reaction? Is Donald Trump right or wrong? The Government has unveiled its first comprehensive Road Safety Strategy in more than ten years. It has revealed that a minimum learning period could be introduced for drivers in England and Wales. The shake-up of driving laws is aimed at reducing the number of people killed or badly injured on Britain’s roads by 65% over the next decade, and by 70% for children under 16. Around a fifth of all deaths or serious injuries from collisions involved a young car driver in 2024. What do you make of these plans? Did you learn to drive through a crash course? And a panto in Newport reached record breaking numbers this year, selling over 27,000 tickets. Did you visit one this year? Why is local theatre so important to you?
