Vernon is joined by Boyzone's Ronan Keating for Tracks Of My Years - choosing ten songs that tell the story of his life and career to date. Plus two listeners take on the mid-morning music quiz Ten To The Top and we dive in the BBC archive once more for Vernon's Vault. Born in 1977 in Dublin, Ronan Keating joined Boyzone at just 16 after singing songs by James Taylor and Cat Stevens in his audition, making him the youngest member of the band. The group topped the UK charts with six singles and five albums, to date having sold more than 25 million records worldwide. When they split in 1999 Ronan launched a very successful solo career, with singles such as When You Say Nothing At All (featured in the film Notting Hill), and Life Is A Rollercoaster. As an artist in his own right, he has sold over 20 million records. He's also worked extensively in TV and radio, as well as still performing live. Boyzone are playing two huge farewell shows this summer at London's Emirates Stadium, performing for the first time since 2019. Produced by BBC Audio for BBC Radio 2.
