The BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Sakari Oramo in Mozart's final work his dark-hued Requiem. Martin Helmchen is the soloist in Mozart's C Minor Piano Concerto. And the concert begins with a recent work by French composer Camille Pepin: Inlandsis is a shimmering "fresco for orchestra" inspired by the alarming melting of ice masses and rising sea levels due to global warming.
