Tracks Of My Years

Available for 14 days

Actress Lesley Sharp joins Gary Davies to choose her Tracks Of My Years - ten songs that tell the story of her life and career to date. Born in Manchester and raised by adopted parents in Merseyside, Lesley wanted to be an actress from an early age. After studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she landed her first on-screen role in Alan Clarke's 1986 comedy Rita, Sue and Bob Too. Since then, her roles on British TV have included Clocking Off (2000–2001), Bob & Rose (2001), Afterlife (2005–2006) and Scott & Bailey (2011-16). She was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the 1997 film The Full Monty, playing Jean. She'll next be on our screen in the second series of acclaimed ITV thriller, Red Eye, playing Head of MI5 Madeline Delaney, starting on New Years Day. Produced by BBC Audio for BBC Radio 2.
