The Phone In

Available for 2 days

US President Donald Trump has filed a five billion dollar lawsuit against the BBC, over an edit in a Panorama documentary of his speech on January 6th 2021. Trump accused the broadcaster of defamation and of violating a trade practices law, according to court documents filed in Florida. The BBC apologised to Trump last month, but rejected his demands for compensation and disagreed there was any "basis for a defamation claim". Do you think the BBC should seek a settlement with Trump, or face him in court? A new report out today says that fewer than half of primary school children walk to school. That number drops to a third by the time students get to secondary school, according to the report, published by Wales' Active Travel Board. Should we encourage all children to walk to school – or are there times when it’s impossible? And following the feasting on Christmas Day, there comes the inevitable afternoon slump. But is it ever acceptable to have a nap in somebody else’s house? Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110, or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nations' conversation.
