HAAi: The musical ups and downs of my life

Journeys In Sound

Available for 4 days

HAAi shares the music that has sound-tracked her life, with Nemone. Alongside the release of her highly acclaimed and brilliant album HUMANiSE, Teneil Throssell talks about the music that shaped her early years, from her mum’s love of Billy Joel, the impact of computer game music and Mortal Kombat, and the influence of songwriters like Alanis Morrisette and Cat Power. Talking to Nemone, who combines her roles of DJ and qualified psychotherapist, HAAi dives deep to share her story and the songs that have moved her over the ups and downs of life. She also reflects on her early music success with Dark Bells, the difficulty of that project ending, and how DJing helped her find her own space as an artist. In this series Nemone also talks in depth to musicians Sampa The Great, Bob Mould and Beverly Glenn Copeland.
