Buying a car with a finance deal has become the norm in this country - around 9 in 10 new cars are bought on finance, usually a PCP - a personal contract purchase. It's become a way to make more expensive cars affordable because you're not paying back the full price of the car. Some of these deals have 0% finance and full warranty and servicing but some are not so good and of course you don't own the car at the end. It's not just new cars - many second hand cars are bought on finance too - on PCP or Hire puchase - what car could you afford and how did you finance it? Have you taken out a finance deal on a car?
