UK’s hospitality industry: What’s the latest?

A third of hospitality businesses are losing money, with more than half saying they've laid off staff or reduced hours, and almost 80% saying they've had to raise their prices. These are the findings from a new survey by industry groups, pointing to the recent hikes in National Insurance and Business Rates in April as the main reasons. We'll be talking with people in the industry to get their take on the challenges they're facing and see if there’s anything that can be done to help boost the sector.
