Emerging from the UK garage scene in the early 2000s, dubstep became a groundbreaking sound, marked by its deep basslines, syncopated rhythms and dark atmospheres. It wasn’t long before it took over dance floors around the world, shaping a whole new wave of electronic music. Pete shares some pivotal tracks from the genre courtesy of the likes of Skream, Benga, Knife Party, Katy B, Artwork, Caspa, Joker, Skrillex and more.
