How will the Budget help the government deliver 1.5m new homes, in five years, and will the raise in stamp duty for private landlords increase the numbers selling up? The latest Ofcom report on the postal services in the UK shows that the numbers of letters delivered have declined 9% in the last year and has fallen by three quarters in the last 20 years. Is cutting the number of weekly deliveries the only rational answer to the viability of Royal Mail? More restaurants and shops are relaxing their attitudes to allowing dogs on their premises, is this a good thing?
