Writer Sara Saleh takes us on a tour of a formative place in her development. West Sydney's Bankstown Poetry Slam. She considers the multitude of different people who found their voice there, and how this collection of outsiders went from the extremities to... a form of cool. These essays were recorded in front of an audience at the Sydney Theatre Company. The writers acknowledged the Gadigal people and paid respects to elders past and present. Presented by Sara Saleh Produced by Sue Roberts and Kevin Core
