Gap Finders - Fix Radio

You and Yours

Available for over a year

Thirty-one-year-old Louis Timpany is the founder and CEO of Fix Radio – a commercial radio station that has been designed to broadcast specifically to people working in trades. He came up with the idea aged 22 while spending time working on construction sites after university, and since it launched in 2017 in London, it’s expanded to broadcasting nationally, and now has around 450,000 tradespeople tuning in every week. He shares with us how he built the business, the challenges he’s faced, and what’s next for Fix Radio. Joining him is one of his presenters, Clive Holland, who is from a trade background himself. He initially laughed at the idea of a station for tradespeople and shares what it’s like to work on the station, and the response they get from listeners. PRESENTER: WINIFRED ROBINSON PRODUCER: KATE HOLDSWORTH
