A Batch Made in Heaven

On Your Farm

Available for over a year

Ruth Sanderson meets the baker and farmer working together to make better bread. Andrew Whitley is a bread campaigner. His aim is to encourage and educate consumers, in order to get people making and eating the best possible bread they can - bread that’s delicious, nutritious and inexpensive to bake. Andrew has teamed up with Sam Parsons, farm manager of the Balcaskie Estate in Fife in order to grow grain packed with nutrients, which will be milled on the estate into flour. Currently Scotland grows very little grain which is destined for baking - Andrew and Sam are seeking to change that. Is theirs a batch made in heaven? Produced and presented by Ruth Sanderson
