As the seventeenth series of BBC One show The Apprentice comes to an end, Sonya speaks to past candidates about their time on the show, what they learnt, and what they’re up to now. She reflects on her conversation with last year’s winner, Harpreet Kaur, who appeared on the show in May 2022. Harpreet shares the mindset that has helped her win the show, and has made her career a success. Harry Mahmood from series 16, who described himself as the Asian Lord Alan Sugar! Harry featured on the show in 2021, but his vision of being Alan didn’t quite work out, as he was fired for being 'disruptive'. He talks to Sonya about how to focus on your goals and make them happen, and teases us with a secret project he’s working on. Sonya is also joined by Sajan Shah from series 13. He had his own events company at the time, and was the seventh candidate to be fired. Sajan talks about the reality of being fired on The Apprentice and shares his top tips for aspiring hustlers.
