The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has pleaded with early retirees to 'come back to work' just days after reports emerged that the government could be planning to raise the retirement age in the UK. But new research from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) suggests firms are much less open to hiring older workers than they are to bringing in younger people.
