In Part 2 of the drama Ponting is put on trial. The verdict caused a sensation and ultimately led to changes in the Official Secrets Act. The writer, Richard Monks, drew on Government Papers, newspaper reports and court transcripts as well as Ponting’s own account for the drama. The drama includes some imagined scenes.
