19 year-old Amani Zubair from Birmingham is the founder of Tresor, which is an online jewellery store that sells demi-fine jewellery. At just 17, Amani raised money to set up her business by reselling her clothes online. She then went on to launch Tresor, which shot to success with the help of going viral on TikTok and receiving backing from Lord Alan Sugar! Amani shares her incredible story with Sonya, from making her first pieces of jewellery at home to employing a small team and running a successful business with Lord Alan Sugar. Tandy Virdee has been in touch with the show to share his career with Sonya. Tandy has 25 years of experience in the creative industry as a graphic designer and now is a creative director that works with big brands to promote their businesses. His latest career move was inspired by his twin sons, who came up with an idea to create a clothing brand as part of a school project. The idea quickly turned into business and Tandy launched ‘Rocket Sonic’ in 2020.
