How easy is it to find good, affordable childcare just now? Call us, ring 03700 100 444. For working parents, finding decent childcare can be a real challenge. For people on lower incomes, nursery or childminder bills can take up a huge chunk of the family budget. Some parents feel that they end up "paying to work", but still choose to maintain their job. Others leave work behind for the years when their children are really young, and look after them at home, until they are old enough to go to school. The costs and the pressures depend greatly on how much support you have from friends and family. It continues once children have gone to school, when many parents struggle to find someone to look after their children during the school holidays, while they are working. What's your experience?
