The name wind hover is the perfect alternative name for the kestrel. For most people the sight of a kestrel is of a motionless bird of prey hovering patiently over a motorway verge or field searching for its prey. The kestrel can be found in urban areas as well as very rural areas of our countryside as we can hear in this extended version of Tweet of the Day featuring presenter Steve Backshall, Urban Birder David Lindo and the RSPB's Liane Holdsworth. Producer : Andrew Dawes
