US music critic and broadcaster Ann Powers presents a tribute to Prince, framed around a night she spent with the star in 2008. This was a night for hanging out in the singing star’s Hollywood mansion in Beverly Park - a place with the European opulence of an upscale spa. And also for meeting his protege and girlfriend Bria Valente, and for listening to tracks in Prince’s limo, a local club – even his bedroom.
