University lecturer Claire finds herself responsible for the working class father she has barely seen in over 40 years. An original short story specially commissioned by BBC Radio 4 from the Northern Irish writer Tara West. Tara West is a writer from Co Antrim whose published works include two novels and a memoir. She is a doctoral student at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University Belfast and is one of BBC Writersroom’s Belfast Voices. Read by Andrea Irvine.
