Available for over a year

Call You and Yours: How safe do you feel when you're out and about? The death of Sarah Everard, who disappeared while walking home from a friend’s house in London, has led to an outpouring of concern over the safety of women in our streets and public spaces. Social media has filled with personal stories of when women and girls have felt threatened, harassed or have actually been attacked. Studies suggest that most women living in British cities feel unsafe at least some of the time. In the last few days, there have been calls for men to act as “allies” and help women to feel safer. How safe do you feel when you’re out and about? What would help you to feel safer? Email [email protected] and leave us a phone number, so we can contact you. From 11.00am on Tuesday 16th March, call us direct on 03700 100 444. Producer: Jonathan Hallewell Presenter: Shari Vahl
