You and Yours

Available for over a year

The BuyNowPayLater industry is one of the few industries doing well at the moment. Companies like ClearPay; AfterPay and Klarna offer the chance to buy the things you want while allowing you to spread the payment. It's available at lots of big online retailers from Asos and John Lewis. They've benefited from the crisis-driven boom in online clothing sales as well as the social media trend for displaying hauls of newly bought clothes. We'll be finding out if there's a downside to taking on such debts. Have you noticed tickets on sale for events and concerts that couldn't possibly be happening because of the pandemic? Well it could be because secondary ticket agents are allowing tickets to be sold for events that don't exist. We investigate and ask what can be done about it. The Pick for Britain campaign was supposed to recruit local workers to replace those who can't travel here to pick fruit and vegetables because of travel restrictions. We'll be on a fruit farm to see how it's all going with the new workers and find out what farmers really think of their new employees. Presented by Shari Vahl Produced by Olive Clancy
