Was Colonel Robert Lundy Framed?

The Long and the Short of It

Available for over a year

Tim McGarry, a six foot four comedian, joins vertically challenged Orangeman and historian Dr David Hume to look at a number of fascinating historical incidents and people in Irish history. The unlikely duo investigate well-known historical events from different perspectives, to give the listener the long and the short of it. In this first programme in the series they examine the time of the Siege of Derry and ask if Colonel Robert Lundy was framed. They meet historian Carlo Gebler on the Walls of Derry, Billy Moore of the Apprentice Boys of Derry at the new Siege Museum and military historian Richard Doherty.
