Call You And Yours: Have you struggled to get medication you rely on to be healthy?

You and Yours

Available for over a year

The Guardian newspaper reports that the NHS is currently running short of dozens of medicines including treatments for cancer, depression, heart conditions and epilepsy. They've seen a confidential Department of Health document, distributed to some doctors, that list the drugs hit by shortages. 17 new drug shortages are reported including drugs for cancer, Parkinson’s, mental health problems and some eye conditions. In addition there are said to be on-going problems with 69 different types and doses of medication including antibiotics for tuberculosis, diamorphine, various cancer drugs, heart condition drugs, Hepatitis vaccines and anti-epilepsy drugs. We want to know if patients are feeling these shortages. Have you struggled to get medication you need to be healthy? If so, how has that affected you? Email us: [email protected] and please remember to include a phone number so we can call you back. Or call us on 03700 100 444 after 1100 on Tuesday.
