A new app has been launched, designed to help people find out when food is being reduced at their local supermarket. Supermarkets and convenience stores often use yellow stickers to get rid of food that's going out of date soon. Gander aims to notify people when produce is reduced at convenience store, Spar. You & Yours follows blogger, Reduction Raider 1, on one of her shopping trips where she picks up lots of bargains. The homeless charity Shelter says Councils in England are making it harder for people to apply for Social Housing. It says it's seeing more cases of people being turned down who are living in homes with no hot water, heating or who do not have a suitable space to sleep. One woman tells the programme how her daughter who is a single mother with three children has been turned down many times despite living in crowded, expensive accommodation she has had to come out of retirement in order to help her daughter pay for her rent. Plus we discuss why so many of us don't cancel those unwanted subscriptions after free trials, after research suggests nearly half of all British people have paid for a subscription after failing to cancel either because they forgot, or could not work out how to.
