The renowned journalist Maria Ressa first interviewed Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in the 1980s – her media career was just beginning and he was the then mayor of Davao City. More than 30 years later, the two are still crossing swords. Ressa is now on a crusade to combat the ‘fake news’ she believes Duterte and others spread on social media.
