In Game of Thrones the direwolves seem the perfect pets, padding alongside the Starks and even proving handy in the odd battle. But according to The Dogs Trust the growing sales of wolf-type dogs fuelled by the hit HBO show are a problem - as owners realise these adorable pups grow into extremely powerful, energetic dogs which are difficult to train. And we return to the 2013 horsemeat scandal.
