There has been a sharp rise in serious incidents at charities, according to new figures from the Charity Commission. The increase comes after revelations of abuse by charity workers in Haiti. Many of the reports are about safeguarding. We speak to the Commission. From next month tenants in England will be given new powers to challenge bad practices by landlords, including taking the worst offenders to court.
